Mode of Action
Pyrethrum 2% extract is made from natural pyrethrum extract. This formulation is very effective for the control of household pests like adult mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches etc.

Method of Uses:
Pyrethrum Extract 2% m/m should be diluted with kerosene or diesel in the ratio 1:19 and applied as thermal fog or ultra low volume aerosol spray. For mosquito control, space treatment should coincide with the peak time of the spices for better results. Mornings and sunsets are usually the best times. For fly control, spraying in the morning is preferred. During the breeding seasons and in areas with a high density of mosquitoes, frequent treatments will be needed for more effective control and to prevent epidemics. For indoor treatments, close doors and windows and open them after 30 minutes of, application the electricity main needs to be switched off.
Fogging
For mosquito control, ideally 10to 20 droplets is preferred and for flies, a droplets size of 30. Accordingly, the fog machine needs to be used. But the droplets size should not exceed 50, if the wind speed is greater than 15 km/h or during heavy rains or during noon time spraying, activity, should be avoided, as it will be less effective due to rapid dispersion/ agglomeration of droplets. Wind direction needs to be checked so that the fog is dispersed towards the 4-target area does not go in the wrong direction.
