KEY is selective systemic pre-emergent herbicide absorbed by germinating shoots, roots with translocation throughout plants, giving higher concentration in vegetative parts than in reproductive parts. It is used for pre-emergence control of most annual grasses, certain broad leaf weeds in seeded and transplanted rice grown in Africa, Asia, Europe, South America. It shows selectivity in barley, cotton, peanuts, sugar beet, wheat and several brassica crops. It should be used in accordance with climatic conditions and approval of local Authorities.
